    FAQ

Q1 Can the two pump sections of the VG double pump have different displacements (flow rates)?

Yes, absolutely. A key feature of our VG double pump series is the ability to combine two cartridge assemblies (pump sections) with different displacements. This flexibility allows you to create a compact, custom flow solution perfect for applications like:

    • Plastic Injection Molding Machines: High flow for fast mold closing, lower flow for high-pressure injection.
    • Machine Tools: High flow for rapid traverse, lower flow for precise feed motion.
Q2 How is the pressure rating handled for each section of the double pump?

Each pump section within the VG double pump has its own independent outlet port and is rated for its own maximum operating pressure (as listed in the technical specifications). This means:

    • Circuit A can operate at its maximum rated pressure (e.g., 250 bar).
    • Circuit B simultaneously operates at a different pressure (e.g., 150 bar), as determined by the load in each circuit and their respective pressure relief valves.
    • The common shaft and bearings are designed to handle the combined loads from both sections.
Q3 If one pump section fails, does the entire double pump unit need to be replaced?

No, in most cases, the entire unit does not need to be replaced. The modular design of the VG double pump allows for individual repair or replacement of the faulty cartridge assembly (pump section). This serviceability feature:

    • Reduces Downtime: You can service only the failed section.
    • Lowers Lifecycle Cost: It is more economical than replacing the complete pump assembly.

We provide comprehensive support, including detailed documentation and availability of repair kits and individual cartridges to minimize your maintenance overhead.

Q4 What is the maximum displacement capability of the VG series pump?

The maximum displacement of the VG series double pump can be extended up to 320CC. This wide range provides ample selection space for motor and driver pairing, as well as model configuration for diverse system requirements.

Q5 What types of shafts and sealing materials are available in the model designation?

According to our model designation structure, we offer two main shaft types: E (Straight key shaft) and R (SAE Spline shaft). For sealing options, you can select between W ((Buna) NBR) and V (FKM) depending on your fluid and temperature requirements.

Q6 How does the coupling structure design benefit the pump's performance?

The front and rear oil pumps utilize a floating flower-splined coupling structure. Combined with a unique, custom-formulated grease, this design minimizes wear and vibration, ensuring stable operational performance, a longer service life, and exceptionally low operating noise.
